Here’s what I wore Thursday January 25. I love this green skirt; you can dress it up or dress it down with a graphic tee and sneakers.
(Skirt + belt – second hand, bomber cardigan – Monki, top – H&M, sneakers – Adidas)
Here’s what I wore Wednesday January 24. This T-shirt and skirt combo is one of my go-to summer outfits. I decided to update it and make it appropriate for winter by adding a black roll neck top and tights.
(Skirt – H&M, roll neck top – Boohoo, T-shirt – Primark, sneakers – Bershka)
I did quite a bit of second hand shopping last month; so much so that I decided to split the haul up into two parts. Pt. 1 is all tops, and pt. 2 is going to be bottoms and accessories (and one blazer because it is a part of a set).
One of the things, I always look for when I’m second hand shopping is roll neck tops. I thought the lime green roll neck T-shirt was fun and colourful, and I have so many ideas of how to style it. I found two thin knit roll neck tops; a dark grey and a bright purple. These are just great staples to have in my wardrobe.
Even though it’s March, it’s snowing in Denmark, and it’s cold too, so I also got a couple of jumpers. I got another purple one, and I love adding more purple to my wardrobe, since it is my favourite colour. And then my sister found the adorable Christmas jumper for me, and I’m looking forward to wearing it next Christmas.
Another of my favourite things to look for in second hand stores is jackets. As you probably know by now, I’m obsessed with the colour red, and I couldn’t leave the red jacket behind. I also found an amazing black blazer with shoulder pads, and it fits so well. Stay tuned for pt. 2 of my second hand haul.
Here’s what I wore Tuesday January 23. I often wear patterns and/or multi coloured items, but I really like the look of these three solid coloured items together.
(Trousers – H&M, jumper – Monki, boots – Raid)
Here’s what I wore Friday January 19. I’d had this second hand shirt lying around for absolute ages, but I hadn’t worn it until the day I took these pictures. I love it though; the details are so pretty.
(Bomber – Monki, trousers – Primark, shirt – second hand, creepers – The Fabulous Creepers)
The great mascara hunt continues. This Maybelline mascara actually has the name of my favourite mascara (The Falsies) in it, which made it sound promising. I put it to the test, and here are my first impressions.
The brush/wand is very big and difficult to use, but my lashes look super long. The formula is very liquidy, and it’s difficult to remove from the skin without ruining the rest of my make-up (it’s practically impossible). It transfers onto the skin throughout the day, which, as I’ve mentioned before, is a huge problem for me. It’s easy to remove though, but all in all they’re too many cons for me to keep using this mascara, even though it initially looks really good.
